How it Works ?
There are two filter housings and two replacement filters supplied. The
first is a polypropylene particulate pre-filter to remove turbidity,
algae, sediment, dirt, rust and particulate contaminates down to 5
micron in size. The second granular activated carbon cartridge filter
is designed to remove colour, taste, odours, chlorine and organic
matter to produce sparkling and fresh tasting water. We can also supply
replacement filters.
An additional benefit of this system is that the filtered water hose
is 3/8ths of an inch, which is a significantly 50% larger diameter than
traditional stand alone filter systems which use only 1/4ths of an
inch. What this means is that with better water pressure, you can fill
your glass, kettle or pot in half the time.
Country people may also wish to buy the ‘2 in 1’ MixerPLUS Tap alone and connect their ‘rain water’ to the second outlet.
