ITEM INFORMATION:
This pair of antique dishes depict a quaint village scene called "Down Somerset Way". Each dish is stamped on the bottom with the royal crown, with the words "English Ware" above the crown, and the words "Lancasters Ltd Hanley England" below the crown. There is also the potter's mark "A" above all the wording. At the bottom left corner of the scenes are the words "Down Somerset Way".
Both dishes are in great condition with no chips or cracks, although there is some slight crazing due to their age. The dishes measure approx. 14cm across and approx 3.5cm deep.
