US PRESIDENT EISENHOWER Dollar COINS

BOTH COINS SHOW THE EPLURABIS EAGLE

BOTH CLAD NICKEL!!!!

BOTH COINS HAVE "D" MINTMARK

"D" STANDS FOR DENVER MINT

Both were designed by Denn R Williams

Both weigh 22.68 grams each and made from clad nickel.

Both definately not uncirculated.

The 1976 coin had 2 types. Thick and thin lettering.

As many were used in las vegas, it was known tourists would
take them home for souvenirs.

First, collectors and even ordinary citizens hoarded
the coins, but later on a smaller version of the dollar coin
was issued known as the susan b anthony.
