Sandstone coloured pair of hides to suit hatchlings
With hatchie season rapidly approaching yet again, it might be time to ditch the collection of toilet
rolls and margarine containers and get some hides!
They are designed to suit all reptile hatchlings.
Younger reptiles are especially prone to stress, so these hides provide a safe place both in the warm and the cool ends, allowing your reptile to self-regulate temperature.
They have a gritty surface also, which will help with their frequent shedding as they grow.
They measure approx 150mm x 100mm x 60mm H each.
They are sized so that they will fit the popular Sistema 7lt click-clack (available from Kmart, Big W etc) along
with a waterbowl, and will fit other similar containers.
They are finished with oxides (natural pigment) and a sealer coat.
I have successfully raised snakes in similarly sized hides previously. In fact, I have two of these sized hides that house a 9mth Spotted Python and they fit her well.

They are better than resin hides as they;
- provide far better insulation properties (less time for your heat sources to be running)
- look and feel like real stone (which can aid reptiles as they slough).
