Celeriac Seeds!

White Alabaster variety

Celeriac is also known as Celery root &/or Knob Celery

minimum 0.1g in this packet (approx 200 seeds)


Celeriac is a delicious relative of celery and is similar in growth habit and requirements. However its physical characteristics and culinary uses are quite different.

The edible root of celeriac is large and swollen, and develops at soil level; a rosette of dark green leaves sprouts from the root. The leafy tops can be used like celery. The bulb grated into salads or cooked in soups and stews. Add to any part to vegetable juices. The leaves for flavouring soups and for use in herb salts

 

The time to sow Celeriac is Spring. It can also be sown in early autumn in warmer climates.
