Stamps
MNH: Mint Never Hinged, the stamp has not been hinged.
MLH: Mint Lightly Hinged, has been hinged and has light clean hinge mark/remain.
MINT: has been hinged and may have heavier hinge mark/remain.
Fine Used: Clean stamp in good condition, lightly canceled and usually well centred.
Used: in good sound condition, may have odd perf tone/fault, heavier cancel and may be offcentre.
Faults: Has one or more of the following- toning/ creasing/thins/ tears (usually described).
CoversVery good condition: Cover is in Original Condition and free of any faults, generally covers may have some general aging consistent with the age of the cover but still be fine.
Good Condition: Is in original Condition, may have very minor tone spot consistent with age which precludes it being described as very good.
Sound Condition: Cover is in original condition but has been opened and/or may have light toning/creasing consistent with age.
Fair condition: Cover is intact with some faults/edgewear/creasing. May have small tears or damage to backflap from opening.
Average Condition: Cover is badly toned/ has faults (tears/damage from opening or poor storage).
Poor Condition: Generally only used for covers of some value but still collectible. Such items have major faults which will be individually described.
