The coin is enclosed in a protective capsule and comes with an information card in a plastic folder.

This special legal tender Australian Dollar was struck by the Perth Mint. It is the only Aluminium Bronze Australian dollar coin with a diameter of 38.74mm.

The image of the kangaroo surrounded by patterns representing 'new beginnings' was created by Charmaine Cole, an indigenous artist from Western Australia.

Weight 20 grams.
