You're bidding on a scarce coin. This is a frosty choice uncirculated $100 Peso bi-metallic coin from the Mexican Mint. Similar to our statehood quarter series, the Mexican Mint issued 32 different $100 Peso coins between 2003 and 2005. Mintage is quite low, if this was a U.S. coin with a similar mintage, the price would be ten times what this one is listed for. Distribution was limited and many of the banks in Mexico never received any, with supplies running out long before everyone got the ones they wanted. Very attractive in appearance, great lustre and a very impressive coin measuring 38mm in diameter. Silver center and a brass outer ring. 5. SHIPPING: We ship via the United States Post Office. Multiple, same day sales will be combined for shipping and the cost determined by the total weight and value of the package. If you overpay shipping via paypal on combined items, not to worry, we will refund any difference stated between our winning bid notification and the costs reflected at checkout.
