A commemorative stamp and coin cover was released by Australia Post and The Perth Mint to celebrate the 2008 World Youth Day Sydney. The $1 coin's reverse depicts His Holiness Pope Benedict XVI and the World Youth Day logo with a Perth Mint's mintmark 'P'.
The stamp and cover has Australia Post's “DNA” Seal of Authenticity. An additional brand integrity label also shows it to be official licensed merchandise of World Youth Day Sydney 2008. First Day of Issue is 24 June 2008, Loch Sport VIC 3851.
