CelebrArty does not sell cheap home-made inkjet prints

• Each photograph is hand printed to order on the highest quality photographic paper

• All materials, equipment and processes employed are state-of-the-art. We use a fully calibrated and color profiled working environment and use EPSON Professional Photo Printers
  

• We use only original high resolution digital images. We do not blow up or enlarge low resolution web images

• Photographs taken before the digital camera revolution are scanned from either the original photograph, negative or slide to create the digital image. However, some scans are better than others. We have included all the good to great scans in the selections available for print. We have also included some of the not so great scans but they are RARE images and maybe it is just the photograph you are looking for to add to your collection. If you have selected such an image WE WILL WARN YOU that the print may not be as sharp and as clear as the rest of our collection of photographs. The option is then up to you if you still want the photograph printed, select another photograph or get a refund on your purchase

• Some preview images may show signs of deterioration, dust and scratches etc. This is especially so of the old black and white photographs of the 1900's to 1970's. This is not a problem however, as before such an image is processed for print, it is professionally restored, retouched and enhanced to bring it back to it's former glory. This process is free of charge even though our staff of photo restorers charge over $50 per hour for requested restorations. The choice of course is yours if you want the photgraph printed 'as-is'

• Colors, brightness, contrast and other display characteristics of monitors viewing our preview images differ greatly. Due to the low screen resolution of monitors, your printed photographs will be considerably sharper and more detailed than their corresponding preview images

• All images are carefully examined before processing to print and color corrected and enhanced as needed

• Watermarks shown on preview images will not appear on your photographs

• Depending on the aspect ratio (dimensions) of the original image, cropping of the final photograph may be slightly different than the images displayed. This is especially true with the difference between the dimensions of an A4 photograph and an 8x10 sized photograph. A tall and skinny image is more suited to an A4 sized photo. A short and fat image is more suited to an 8x10 photograph. Square images will be processed as 8x8 photographs

• We have bought a lot of photo prints from a lot of eBay sellers to test the competition and have basically been dissapointed in the quality with most of what we have received. Washed out and poor colors, poor quality papers, obvious cheap home-made prints done on cheap $100 or less desktop printers. We guarantee you will find cheaper photo prints than ours but we also guarantee they won't be anywhere near the quality of the photographic print you will get from CelebrArty
