The Replacements Montage

Continuing the popular selection of privately commissioned

decimal currency montages The Mint present to you

‘The Replacements Montage’.

This collection contains uncirculated $1, $2 and $5 paper

notes. Having been introduced in 1966 these notes replaced

the imperial pre-decimal designs. A Polymer $5 note is also

included, which was one of the first notes to be replaced

using this new technology, in the hope of

reducing counterfeiting.

The uncirculated coins represented is the ‘Five Kangaroos’ $1

coin which replaced the $1 note in 1984 and the Aboriginal

elder $2 coin that replaced the $2 note in 1988.

Beautifully framed and limited to only 500 individually

numbered montages.
