23" Early German Composition Doll,cloth body Good shape

23" Offered is an early Sonneberg Composition Doll made in Germany circa 1880 , this doll is in good condition head and body from the same time , old dressed and has brown glass eyes , interesting document from the past  !!

 a fine shoulder head with a solid dome and split on top of head to inset hair , but she has today an old  mohair wig , doll has lost her original hair , head and shoulder plate made from a composition with a fine original finish and good condition :

slightly turned shoulder head with a deep dimple on chin , open mouth and row of tiny teeth , brown stationary , original set glass eyes with painted upper and lower eye lashes , fine feathered brows , very nice and natural  modeled ears , reddish mohair wig iss old !

head condition : generally good shape and head has NO repairs , NO repaints , noc cracks or splits  , no discolorations , good original condition

this doll has a cloth body , torso is made from Gauze and sea-grass stuffed , little wear from age , torso has 3 small holes but no leaks ! lower legs and feet are made from cloth but is o0riginal and old , composition lower arms and hands with some wear from age ....

doll is wearing undergarments and and old white dress , stockings NO SHOES..
