This auction is for a UltraBay 2000 hard drive adapter which integrates an additional HDD into your ThinkPad laptop. You can simply put any 9.5mm thick, 2.5" PATA (IDE) HDD inside the adaptor and insert into the UltraBay 2000 slot. The 2nd HDD will run locally just the same as the primary HDD. You can even set a password protection from BIOS for the 2nd HDD, as BIOS will recognise and treat two hard drives equally. It even supports hot swapping!
