There is a couple of things you should be very careful of when buying Genuine cartridges.

Firstly, ensure your vendor is not selling you out of date stock. Genuine Consumables Online ensures that all new, genuine stock gets rotated to ensure that you get the long expiry date possible. This typically ranges between 1 and 2 years away from the sale date!

Canon printers have non-replaceable printheads, which can only be purchased through qualified service centres. These printheads usually costs a few hundred dollars. The printers need new printheads after a few thousand A4 full sized pages of genuine ink, or far less using non-brand ink. These printers are priced at $150-$600 bucks are NOT DESIGNED to print high-volumes of photos. It makes sense to use Genuine Cartridges, print mainly the photos you want (not just ruin your printhead printing with junk ink and paper). Printheads have a lifespan, and you can protect your investment using Genuine cartridges. This is the manufacturers way of making money from non-genuine ink users. By forcing them to replace printheads that genuine users don't have to concern themselves with. Don't fall for this trap!
