3 Cast Brass Modernist Jazz Musician Sculptures c1950-60

A superb set of three hand modeled cast brass sculptures. Made it seems partially via a lost wax casting method- and then various parts have been welded together to form these complex metal artworks. There’s a quirky quality to the trio that suggests a certain Modernist sensibility- and I would suggest these were probably made ca 1950-60s? Being unmarked it is difficult to affirm.

The metal has a bronze like patina- and the various parts were cast in a “lost wax’ technique which lends the pair such a nice hand made quality as each musician and instrument was first hand modeled in a soft wax.

Condition is stunning across the whole trio- and these would look superb in a modern or retro themed home.
