3 nights cottage accommodation in beautiful farm valley

This is a great oppportunity to take up an off-season special for accommodation any time in the remainder of November and December (up to the 18th Dec 09). We are offering for auction 3 nights at our Wallaby Creek Cottage, fully self-contained,private, secluded cottage located on our farm in a beautiful grazing valley adjoining rainforest National Park in the Upper Clarence valley in NSW. It is an easy two and a half hours drive from Brisbane or the Gold Coast.

The accommodation on offer is any three consecutive nights (booking required at close of auction, subject to availability), can be over a weekend or midweek.

The accommodation is fully self-contained, self-catering. The cottage has two bedrooms, each with a queen size bed, and has an open plan living-dining area, a kitchen, a bathroom and a verandah. It is solar powered for lights and gas for stove, fridge and hot water, and a real wood fire if it turns a bit chilly. Linen and firewood are provided for your use. The cottage is located on our 500 acre grazing and forestry property where our family runs beef breeders. The cottage is completely private from the main farm house and overlooks only the valley and Tooloom National Park.

Our visitors enjoy watching the local kangaroos and wallabies all around the cottage most days in big family groups. There is also bushwalking in the National Park or in the valley, swimming or exploring in the creek, birdwatching in the quiet bush and plenty of peace and quiet to sit on the verandah with a drink and take in the view. There's no TV or phone (even no mobile reception). There's a short drive to waterfalls, small towns, Rainforest walks and further bushwalking.
