Producing medium to large, round white bulbs with good skin.
Gladalan White can also be grown as a spring bunching onion. Stores well.

HOW TO GROW

  • Sow thinly 5mm deep in rows. Keep moist.
  • Prefers a rich, fine soil and sun.
  • Seedlings emerge: 10-14 days.
  • Spacing: 30cm between rows. Thin out seedlings early to 2cm apart and later to 10cm apart.

 

HARVEST

  • Approx. 24-32 weeks from sowing. Onions are ready to crop when the tops dry and then fall over.
  • After harvesting, leave onions on the ground for several days to cure, then store in a cool, dry place.
