Features Of This Sword

100 percent of the blade was hand forged and be consists of AISI 1045 carbon steel + high carbon AISI 1060 steel. Tempered blade and water quenched. Hand sharpened blade can cut 5 bamboos with a strike and leaves not cracks on the edge. Hua Lee wood saya with 2 handmade brass collar and tip. Hua Lee wood handle was wrapped cotton rope with handmade brass pommel tip. Handmade brass dragon hand guard. All sword's fittings were carved Chinese traditional dragon designs. The sword's style remake as Chinese Qing Dynasty royal guarder's sword and making skill total as Chinese royal traditional hand forged skills.

The middle red part of the blade is high carbon AISI 1060 steel. 2 blue layers divided laminated on the 2 sides are AISI 1045 steel. High carbon steel in the middle in order to let edge be very strength and reach the cutting standard. 2 blue layer AISI 1045 steel keep the blade's flexibility. Because it's easy to break for full strong of the blade. But if we use Sanmai steel construction that's not easy.

The red line not tempered line and we call it is Sanmai Line. The Sanmai Line was generated by high carbon steel and folded steel mix forging processing. Sanmai Line is high carbon steel and middle carbon steel dividing line. The parts of the blade under the Samai Line is high carbon AISI 1060 STEEL and the parts of the blade above the Sanmai Line is middle carbon AISI 1045 STEEL.
