What’s my story?

In January of 2007, I had my engagement, wedding and eternity rings remade

in rose gold and had a new diamond added.  This began a long, fruitful

relationship between the jeweler and I.  So many people admired my rings,

that in the following year alone, three family members and one friend went to

the same jeweler to have some serious work done!

So now, when he has surplus of stock or another jeweler he knows is retiring,

they get me to sell their stock online and share the profits.  Because most of

these items are closeouts, the starting price is well below even the wholesale

price the jeweler originally paid – he can’t spend his retirement if the stock

doesn’t get sold!  This works great for you – master jeweler quality items at

Briolite VS Moissanite?

Briolite and Moissanite are different stones all together.

BRIOLITE is a lab created gemstone that was created to match natural

diamonds in virtually every property. While moissanite looks great on it's

own, Briolite looks far better as an synthetic diamond, and is much cheaper to

buy online than Moissanite.

MOISSANITE is a lab created gemstone that has a higher refractive index

than natural diamonds. The dispersion of light from moissanite is also higher,

and coloured flashes can be seen under white light.

So it really depends what you're looking for.

Synthetic VS Imitation/Simulated Gemstones?

SYNTHETIC GEMSTONES are identical to a natural gemstone in almost

every way. This includes the same basic crystal structure, refractive index,

specific gravity, chemical composition, colours, and other characteristics.

Since the same gemological tests are used for stone identification on both

natural and synthetic gems, it is sometimes even possible for a gemologist to

be puzzled as to whether or not a stone is natural or synthetic. When this

occurs, the best course of action is to send the stone to an accredited gem

laboratory, like the Gemological Institute of America. They can positively

determine whether a stone is synthetic or naturally occuring. Only minor

internal characteristics allow separation of a synthetic gemstone from a

natural gemstone.

IMITATION/SIMULATED GEMSTONES merely imitate (or simulate)

the colour or look of a natural stone. They can be made out of anything. Cubic

Zirconias and Moissanite are IMITATION diamonds, for example. A blue

piece of glass could be an imitation sapphire. A variety of blue synthetic

forsterite is an excellent imitation for tanzanite, while chemically, it's

composition is much closer to the yellowish green peridot. Another classic

example is the "alexandrite" set in many jewelry pieces is actually a variety of

vanadium colored synthetic sapphire!

COMBINED SHIPPING

Of course, I combine shipping!  I use satchels where possible, so the shipping

cost is based on weight.  Please enquire for a precise shipping quote to your

door.  If you DO NOT request a total for shipping on multiple items once you

win the auction, I will not be able to adjust the shipping charge.  I am more

than happy to combine postage, however if two items you have bid on are not

ending within 3 days of the first item purchased, please notify me of this when

the first item closes, or within 3 days. I cannot be held responsible for non-

combined items if you do not let me know that you are bidding on multiples.

Please note that I ONLY SHIP VIA REGISTERED OR EXPRESS POST.

This is because I have no control over Australia Post and the only way to track

your item is to register it.  Registered and Express items include insurance up

to $100.  If you wish to purchase additional registered insurance, please

for.  It costs your postage fee PLUS $2.75 for the first $100, then $1.25 per

hundred insured within Australia or $8.45 for the first $100, then $2.25 per

item. I use Australia Post Satchels/Packages ONLY, except for items that

THE PROCESS

*  You win the item/s.  If you are bidding on further items, PLEASE notify me.

*  When your shopping is complete, you hit “Pay Now” and either click on

“Request Total From Seller” or you complete the checkout.  If you have not

done this by the three days that contact is required within, I will send you an

invoice, just in case you have overlooked it or forgotten.

*  I mark your payment as received when I receive it.  I do not usually send

emails to notify that I have received your payment.  Paypal will generate a

receipt for you which is proof that I have received your payment.

*  I package your item and send it.  I do not usually send emails to tell you

that I have shipped your items.  I am one person with one computer and yes I

have two feet and at the moment two heartbeats, but my life is not spent online! J

*  When you have received your item you have two choices;

1) Contact me if you are unhappy for any reason.  If you leave negative or

neutral feedback without contacting me, I will not be happy! L

2) Leave positive feedback.

REFUNDS

I give a full refund ONLY if the item is grossly misrepresented, faulty or is

damaged upon delivery due to poor packaging.

through any problems that may arise.  Almost everything on offer is a one off

item, so I don’t usually do exchanges.  Exchanges will be at the cost of the
