4 Vintage silver plate enamel Stokes of Melbourne forks, Omeo, Lorne, Mt Gambier and Mildura. Gum nut decoration.

This set is in lovely condition. Each piece is marked to the back Stokes Melb and has the distinctive Stokes of Melbourne Star over a boomerang trade mark.

Each fork has an enamelled finial with the towns, Omeo, Lorne, Mt Gambier and Mildura represented. The handle of each has an Art Deco pattern of gum leaves and gumnuts. The top of the finial has scrolls and more gum leaves and tiny gumnuts. The backs of the pieces are smooth and plain. There is faint gilding evident around the enamelled centre to three pieces.

There is no silver plate loss or wear through to any of the pieces and the enamel is in lovely condition as well.

The forks are 130mm long.
