Rolling Stock Derailment. Far North Of South Australia. Mid 1950s






For your possible interest may I offer this group of 4 period photographs from the mid 1950s. They depict the derailment of goods train carriages in the far north of South Australia.
Storms created flooding creeks which washed away embankments. Derailments were common place and repeated many times in the history of the far north of SA.

Two images suffer minor cracking.

All four images, however, are in clean original condition.
