Here are 4 rolls of one of ILFORD's most famous classic black and white negative films---ILFORD DELTA 3200---- in 35 millimetres/36 exposures size which are separately boxed with each box showing the EXACT expiry date of 09/2010 so you can be sure of the FRESHNESS and QUALITY of each roll of film.
This film is a medium contrast black and white negative film with a speed of an amazing 3200 ISO and is claimed by Ilford to be able to be "pushed" or uprated in its ISO speed (i.e. underexposed by anything up to 2-3 f stops and extra developing time allowed in the developer to make up for this under-exposure) up to an amazing 12,500 ISO (i.e. 2 x f stops above the rated speed of 3200 ISO) with the necessary variation in processing times. Alternatively it can be "pulled" or downrated (i.e. over-exposed by 3 x f stops with the appropriate reduction in the developing time to compensate for this over exposure) to 400 ISO and providing results equivalent to the best 400 ISO films. This characteristic makes this film probably THE most versatile black & white negative film capable of just about any shooting situation possible. It also features very fine grain (amazing for a film of this speed) and yielding high sharpness and wide tonal range in the resulting negatives producing high quality prints from a very high speed film. It can be processed in a wide variety of black and white developers but Ilford of course recommend their own developers (Microphen, ID-11 and Ilfotec DD-X). Because of these characteristics this film is an extremely versatile film that can be used in virtually any situation where high sharpness, fine grain and extreme speed are crucial and yields first class results. This exceptional film uses ILFORD'S unique core shell crystal technology. It is one of Ilford's world famous black and white emulsions that has been a favourite with black and white photographers everywhere in recent years (as it is just a reletaively new emulsion). It has superior exposure latitude of 400 ISO to 12,500 ISO with the appropriate development time used as necessary to allow for the relevant under or over exposure making it just about the only black & white negative film capable of covering just about any subject matter requiring faster speeds (i.e. fast action, low lighting situations etc) and producing quality results. These films have been refrigerated since purchase and are FRESH with each film being individually packaged with each film box showing the EXACT expiry date of 03/2011.
