Coach is relisted. Many of you wanted to know a 'buy it now price' last time. All I will say is that it has been advertised locally for $75 000 however any one with a genuine offer should put it forward as we do need to sell it. Coach returns generally 30-32 ltr/100 km when cruising at 98-99km/h ( speed limited ).
Up for sale sadly is the Denning coach motor home built by my father and I in 2005. Dad passed away last year from cancer so our family must now reluctantly sell this great bit of gear.
The coach is a 40 ft Denning powered by a 6V92 turbo charged silver Detroit Diesel with jakes @ 350 HP, with 5 speed Allison AUTOMATIC trans. Engine was rebuilt about 17,000 km before
Dad bought it and has done probably 20,000 since. There are obviously many hundreds of thousands of km's left before it should need to be touched again and the Allison auto makes it oh so easy to drive and manouver in traffic or on the open road. Mechanically the rest of the coach is in top nic with near new brakes and tyres right round.
Inside it features a queen size bed with pillow top mattress, Couch / pull out bed, Gas hot water with digital temp control, Gas cook top and oven, Shower, Flushing toilet, Sink and Vanity.
2 x split system air conditioners are great for heating and cooling and can even be used whilst travelling thanks to the diesel gen set mounted below with in cabin remote start. Underneath also is a 1000 ltr fresh water tank, 500 ltr grey and 500ltr black water tanks, along with a 4.5 kg front loader washing machine that can also be used whilst travelling. The whole coach is wired for 12V and 240V AC power. An upright 12V/240V fridge with seperate freezer provides plenty of storage for all the chilled food and beverages.
Whilst the inside of the coach is spot on the outside of it would require some minor touch ups to satisfy a fussy owner. In two areas the white roof paint hasn't adhered brilliantly and is beginning to crack and lift a little but I believe that these could be repaired quite cheaply. Coach has SA rego untill end of Jan 2010 however it is located at Forest Reefs near Orange in NSW. I would be prepared to deliver it anywhere in the country provided the purchaser was prepared to cover costs and subject to me being able to get time off work to do so. No one should have any dramas registering it interstate as mechanically its really good and even has extremely few oil leaks, especially for a 2-stroke Detroit. ( I oughta know, I'm a diesel mechanic ). I'm happy to answer any questions from genuinely interested people, but please, no time wasters. Coach is advertised else where so I reserve the right to remove it from ebay at any stage regardless of bids. Feel free to contact me to arrange an inspection.
