***Fantastic Console Radio Style Design Japenese Musical Cigarette Box***

this amazing CIGARETTE BOX in the style & design of a vintage console radio is in excellent original used condition

a rare late 1940's piece made in occupied Japan

illuminates with pink & white lights when opened up

plays music as the cigarettes move up & down & the peephole at the front display various famous Japanese landmarks that alternate as the music plays

beautifully handcrafted & finished

very unique styling & design very much reminiscent of the console radios of the time

 in nice original working order...runs on 2 standard batteries ( supplied )

a very unique & rarely seen piece...do not miss out

measuring a very cute...20cm long...16cm high...11cm deep ( approx )

 

PLEASE NOTE...before listing i purchased 2 new batteries & fitted them to the compartment...i also wound up the musical box at the bottom...when opened the cigarette box lights up superbly...the cigarettes rise & fall & the music plays nicely...the cigarettes pictured are for display purposes only & are NOT included in this auction 

CONDITION...the cigarette box is in great original condition...as stated it lights up & performs as it should...the cigarette lighter however is out of fuel & no longer working..it could easily be refueled though...

the timber case is fantastic for its 60+ years of age...it has minor age / use related scuffs, swirls, light scratches etc...overall it displays & presents very well indeed & is a very nice little piece

overall this unusual cigarette box displays just superbly & would be a unique & rare addition to any collection...also don't forget to check out my other items ! for heaps of other great collectables
