This folded steel was consisted of iron + AISI 1045 steel through mixed folded forged again and again about 300 times. Then use the completed folded steel dividual wrapped the AISI 1060 steel bar's 2 sides. Whereafter combined forged folded steel and AISI 1060 steel. When above thradtional forged methods completed the blade's edge will be very strong and the blade's back will be flexibled. Tempered blade and Water quenched. Hand sharpened edge can cut 4 bamboos and tree with a strike then and leaves not cracks on the edge. Wood saya and kurigata. Ray shark skin samegawa and real silk tsukamaki. Mixed metal flower tsuba, fuchi and kashira. Brass habaki and shakudo seppa. This battle ready sword suit for kendo and iaido superior. Large value and collectable item. Notice: This blade was sharpened through 7 processes hand sharpening work. None blood groove folded steel blade is much more difficult to sharpen and requires lots of work than blood groove folded steel blade. Usually, high quality Japanese blades don't have blood groove.
