This variety is the first in our

ELITE RANGE
because it is so hard to get hold of stock and we have to pay more than double for these plants wholesale.
It has been around for many years but our growers have only just recently been able to work out how to successfull grow this variety in larger quantities

The plants you will purchase in this listing will be 15 to 20cm tall.

You will recieve 5 plants with each plant in its own 40 mm by 70 mm pot
Each plant will have established roots and will be ready to plant into a larger pot
IF planting into your garden please ensure that you protect from high wind, and very hot and very cold weather.

Though more expensive than our other lines, you will be pleased with what these plants add to your garden.

Description:

Cordyline Albertii is remarkable with a head of sword shaped green leaves that have a cream variegation with pale red toward the trunk, it isn’t a new plant but has been quite rare due to difficulty to mass produce. This plant will add the wow factor to your garden and landscape designs, it’s classy and stylish! Upright, trunk forming with age, the leaves have a weeping habit.

Cultural Notes:

Frost tender, drought, coastal, wind tolerance. Fertilise annually with a long term slow release fertiliser. As the trunk forms, tear away spent foliage rather than cutting, this gives a spiraling effect up the trunk. Albertii has a low water requirement once established.

Landscape Ideas:

Use as feature plants up your driveway or single specimens. Looks great next to ponds and water features, people will want to know what it is. It really stands out against other Cordylines. Pot into large decorative pots for an amazing display.

You will find that these plants will grow and look well amongst native plants such as lilly pillies, bottle brush, grevillea, westringia etc, as well as adding vibrant colour and foliage contrast to mixed plants such as gold diosma, dietes, agapanthus, Flax (Phormium), english box and herbs such as lavender and rosemary.

These plants will have full root system and will be 15cm high at least,
being ready to plant into your garden or larger pots.

Grows to 3-4 metres in height.
Full sun to light shade.

Magnificent broad strap foliage

They make a great feature in pots or in the garden.
Effectively used as borders and scattered plantings as well.

White to tan flowers rise above the foliage in panicles
This variety adds great depth and colour to your garden.

Frost hardy and drought resistant.
