| ||||||
These are 5 rolls of FUJI PRO 160C (latest version of FUJI NPC160) Professional Colour Negative film in 120 MEDIUM FORMAT size. Each film is sealed in an unopened foil packaging as part of an unopened propack showing the EXACT expiry date of: 10/2010 so you can be certain of the FRESHNESS and QUALITY of each film. All these films have been properly refrigerated since purchase.
This is one of Fuji's Professional Colour Negative Portrait films with a speed of 160 ISO, balanced for daylight, enhanced saturation and high contrast (unlike the unenhanced, normal contrast PRO160S/ NPS160), a truly incredible ultra fine grain (RMS of: 3---less than half that of slide films like FUJI Velvia 100 or PROVIA 100F), "high sharpness for the achievement of realistic texture & depth" and " wide exposure latitude" (if you miscalculate the correct exposure by 2-3 f stops OVER or UNDER correct exposure the film will save you with excellent prints to be obtained from the resulting negatives). It also has "enhanced colour image stability" (meaning the negatives will last intact indefinitely with near archival keeping quality for at least 90 years), "single channel suitability for uniform printing efficiency" and this film is a "NEW GENERATION EMULSION DESIGNED FOR OPTIMUM SCANNING QUALITY" (which speaks for itself when using digital scanners). Lastly it has Fuji's famous "fourth colour layer". TO SUM UP: this film produces VIVID, ENHANCED colour with HIGHER CONTRAST (as opposed to the normal contrast, unenhanced, natural colour found in Fuji PRO 160S/ NPS160). With grain measurement of an incredible RMS: 3 (ultra fine grain) there is hardly any grain so it is a perfect film for REALLY BIG enlargements. It has improved reciprocity (i.e. long exposure) characteristics and near archival colour image keeping qualities (i.e. the colour negatives derived from using this film should stay intact and not fade for a very long time--usually a minimum of 90 years). It is also a new generation film designed to provide optimum scans in any scanner. And at 160 ISO speed it is truly a most versatile PROFESSIONAL film which can be uprated to 320 ISO by push processing with very little loss of image quality. The full retail price of this film is: $9.29 ($AUD) so this price represents 81.79% of full retail price . Again a great bargain and it's ULTRA FRESH! (expiring: 10/2010). NOTE: This is the enhanced (or boosted colour), high contrast version of Fuji PRO 160S (formerely Fuji NPS 160) and it is the LATEST, NEWEST version of FUJI NPC 160.
