Lumens and watt

Watt is the measure of power consumption, and is the common way incandescent light bulbs are identified, for example 60-watt, 75-watt and 100-watt. When purchasing a light bulb, however, what you really should look for is lumens, which is the measure of light output.

Lumens measure "luminous flux". This is a measure of the total number of packets (or quanta) of light produced by a light source (e.g. a globe or fluorescent tube).

To clarify the relationship of watts to light output and LED bulbs, we talk about the number of lumens per watt (lm/w) that the device produces. Incandescent bulbs are very inefficient and only generate around 12 lm/w, whereas LEDs sources now have almost equivalent efficiencies of 40 lm/w.

Within 7 days after receiving your parcel, we offer a No-hassle 7 days exchange (replace) only if your parcel is defective due to manufacturing problem. The faulty item will be exchanged for the same model once the return guidelines are followed:
