Item specifics
Condition: New
These are 5 rolls of  KODAK PORTRA 160 NC (one of Kodak's latest re-engineered emulsions) Professional Colour Negative film in 120 size MEDIUM FORMAT. Each film roll is packaged in its own sealed aluminium foil packaging with  the EXACT  expiry date of: 03/2011 printed  on each roll of film so you can be  SURE  of the FRESHNESS and QUALITY of each roll of  film.  All these films have been properly refrigerated since purchase.

This is one of Kodak's latest Professional Colour Negative Portrait films with a speed of 160 ISO, balanced for daylight, with superb colour reproduction (even under mixed lighting sources like fluorescent) producing beautiful natural skin tones,  a truly incredible ultra fine grain (newly developed micro structure optimised T-Grain emulsion), "high sharpness for the achievement of realistic texture & depth" and "extremely wide exposure latitude" (if you miscalculate the correct exposure by 2-3 f stops over OR under correct exposure the film will save you with excellent prints to be obtained from the resulting negatives). It also has "enhanced colour image stability" (meaning the negatives will last intact indefinitely with near archival keeping quality), "single channel suitability for uniform printing efficiency" and this film "is a NEW GENERATION KODAK EMULSION (having recently been re-engineered for greater sharpness, superb colour reproduction even under mixed lighting situations like fluorescent and extremely fine grain). IT HAS ALSO BEEN  DESIGNED ESPECIALLY FOR OPTIMUM SCANNING QUALITY" (which speaks for itself when using digital scanners).

This film produces superb subtle colour with beautiful natural & accurate skin tones as it's a portrait film. Its main features (apart from the EXTREMELY FINE GRAIN, EXTREMELY WIDE EXPOSURE LATITUDE, OPTIMIZED SHARPNESS with DISTINCT FINE DETAIL  and  ENHANCED SCANNING PERFORMANCE)  is it's "SUPERB COLOUR REPRODUCTION even under MIXED LIGHTING like fluorescent lighting PRODUCING BEAUTIFUL, NATURAL SKIN TONES".

So what does all this mean for the advanced amateur & non-professional user (as professionals should know all this stuff already)? Well, it's one of the finest grain films around (perfect for EALLY BIG enlargements), has superb colour reproduction with superb, subtle colour reproduction but produces beautiful, natural skin tones (perfect for weddings, portraits, fashion shots etc under different forms of lighting), has exceptionnally wide-exposure latitude (the best exposure latitude in its class) & "superb skin tone reproduction" (which speaks for itself when using it for pictures of people). It also has superb archivability (i.e. keeping quality) if stored properly and it's negatives will yield superb prints for at least 80 YEARS so image retrieval is not a problem (unlike digital).

The full retail price of this film is: $10.23 ($AUD) each roll so this price represents 78.20% of full retail price .   Again a great bargain and it's ULTRA FRESH (expiring: 03/2011).

NOTE: Get a postage discount by paying via direct credit or internet transfer (please allow 24-48 hours for internet transfers) into my St Goerge bank account. Pay only $8 total postage cost for anything from 1 to 10 rolls of film or pay only $11 total postage cost for anything from 11 to 60 rolls of film. And all delivered via Australia Post express post in the same parcel with guaranteed delivery anywhere in Australia within 2 days (excludes weekends, public holidays and payments made outside post office business hours--i.e. 9.00 a.m. to 5.00 p.m. Monday to Friday).
