These are 5 rolls of Fuji PROVIA 400X Colour Slide (transparency) film (rated at 400 ISO) in 120 MEDIUM FORMAT size expiring 01/2011 in their unopened, original packaging (i.e. 5 roll propack) which is Fuji's latest film and is an upgraded version of Fuji Provia 400F.

This film is the finest grain 400 speed colour slide film on the market yielding higher colour saturation with more "vivid, vibrant colour" with normal contrast and "capable of being pushed 3.5 stops" (to 4800 ISO) in push processing with very little loss of contrast or colour making it extremely versatile and the perfect partner to Fuji Provia 100F. Skin tones are reproduced normally. "Smooth and continuous gradation from highlights to shadows" in addition to "faithful and brilliant colour reproduction" which speaks for itself. It also provides improved image stability and resistance to fading. It is classed as a very fine grain film with a granularity measurement of RMS: 11 (superior to its predecessor Fuji PROVIA 400F which has an RMS of:13) .
Being the best 400 speed Professional Fuji Transparency Film it will easily outperform any other 400 speed transparency film including Fuji Sensia 400 & Kodak Ektachrome EliteChrome 400 as well as Kodak Ektachrome E400X (which is strangely only available in a warm colour balance version). It will even outperform MOST 200 speed transparency films including Fuji Sensia 200 & Kodak EliteChrome 200 (with the possible exception of Kodak Ektachrome E200 Professional transparency film). It is the perfect all around, versatile film for dark, overcast weather, dimly illuminated scenes, scenes with many shadows or for fast action shots when that extra film speed is needed. If extra film speed above 400 ISO is needed then this film, as previously stated, can easily be uprated to 800 ISO or even 1600 ISO with very little, if any, loss of colour, sharpness or contrast . It performs equally well at normal speed in brightly illuminated conditions.
If quality matters then this is the ideal, all around, best quality, most versatile transparency film manufactured today-- at a bargain price!

NOTE: This is the LATEST and NEWEST version of Provia 400F (which is no longer manufactured) and has finer grain than Provia 400F (RMS: 13) whilst PROVIA 400X has a fine grain measurement of RMS: 11 and slightly more boosted colour than it's predecessor.
