Are they 100% Human Hair? Yes, they are 100% Remy, Human Hair! (Remy is an industry term that simply means the cuticle is still facing the same direction.)
Why such a good Price? I own Hair Extension salons and to get the quality and .5gm hair I want, I have to have them specially produced for me. Great quality and price but I simply have to order in huge quantities, so I sell my extra stock on eBay. You get the REAL professional grade Hair Extensions at this great price! How long will they last? Generally your Magic Loop Hair Extensions should last around 3 months, if correctly applied. It is advisable to check and re crimp any loose links every 3 weeks. As with any extension system, the odd one will require re adjusting during the time.
Remember, if you treat them with care, you can reuse them at a later time also.
Can I order more than one colour? Yes, you may order in different colours, by packs of 50. It is not wise to use too many colours, as the effect is not as good as you may expect. Two different colours are generally the best. With 200 extensions, a third highlight could be added. Will they damage my hair? I must point out that damage is possible, but I certainly have NOT seen any, even in people with highly chemically treated hair. In fact, your hair will be in fantastic condition when compared to the glue-in systems, with the remaining glue residue often causing extensive breakage during the glue removal process.
Does tightly crimping the micro link damage my hair? No, in fact crimp as tightly as you can, you will get a far more lasting result. The entire inside of the link is lined with extension hair, so your hair is only coming in contact with the extension hair. Will I have any hair loss? Follow the installation guide, ensure your sections are very clean and you crimp them following the way the hair will lay naturally, this will avoid the normal causes of hair breakage. Remember when you finally remove the extensions there will be some of your hair that has been naturally shed and has remained held in the extension. This is quite normal.
How do I look after them? Continue using your existing hair care products if they are of a good quality. A regular moisturising treatment is also recommended. Ensure you use a good quality spray serum to maintain the suppleness of your hair. After shampooing, comb gently and ideally only use a hair extension brush. They are designed to protect your extensions. These are available from our eBay store.
It is wise, but not necessary to gently plat your extension when you sleep. Can I swim with them? Yes, but this HOT TIP applies equally to hair extensions or your own hair, especially if it is chemically treated. The heavy application of your Spray Serum prior to swimming is ALWAYS highly recommended. But most importantly, always thoroughly wet your hair with tap water, before swimming. This prevents the salt or chorine depositing deeper into in the hair shaft and remaining there when your hair dries.
How many do I need? Without seeing your hair it’s very hard to offer an exact suggestion, here is a general guide of how many we use with our salon clients.
30/ 50 – to add a few highlights, partial infill work or disguising hair damage. 100/120 – to add volume to existing long hair 150/180 – to add length and volume to short hair 180/220 – to add “Over the Top” volume and length or for very short hair going long.
Always buy a few spares, during the time they are in, it is handy to be able to replace the odd one or even increase the quantity in a part of the head. Can I colour it? Yes, you can colour or tone it, but ONLY darker!
