A ground-hugger producing brightly coloured rose-type flowers like crumpled silk.
Great in borders and rockeries. The blooms close as the sun fades each day.

 

HOW TO GROW

  • Sow 5mm deep, direct in final position. Scatter and rake in. Keep moist.
  • Prefers a sunny situation.
  • Seedlings emerge: 12-16 days.
  • Spacing: thin to prevent over-crowding.
  • Thin out if necessary, and feed with liquid fertiliser, but water sparingly, usually when plants begin to wilt.

FLOWERING

  • Approx. 12-14 weeks from sowing.
  • Height: 15-23cm
