A WORD ON ISOLATION THIS MEANS THAT:
The primary (240V) & secondary (115V) are totally electrically isolated (Dieletric isolation). This is the safest way of making a mains voltage conversion. We recommend this type of transformer whenever the application is medical or medically related or where the secondary equipment is to be operated in or near water or high moisture environments. Note the 240V earth is carried through to the 115V socket earth.

Solid all metal construction, heavy duty construction with carry handles.

This Transformer is a must for buyers of oversea,s products on Ebay, any products from oversea,s that runs on 110 Volts AC will require one of these. The transformer Drops or 'Stepsdown" the voltage from our 240 VAC and puts out 110 VAC, allowing you to run products safely from USA and Japan. Please note the power consumption of your unit, there are many different size,s of step down transformers available and they are rated either in terms of Watts or VA, which is both the same, ie 1 Watt = 1 VA.

You should not exceed the rated power of any Stepdown transformer, whilst all the units we sell have thermal cut out we do not, nor does the importer warrant these units against defect if you exceed the rated power. It pays to buy the next size up if you are in doubt.
