It's no use saying that used drives are untested and might work. They won't.

We are no longer selling laptops and we are winding up our stock.

The drives we are now selling are the remainder from our own-use OS storage drives and each one has just been re-tested and has passed the IBM or Hitachi Drive Fitness Test (advanced setting) routine. We have relied on this for several years and we found nothing else that enabled us to reliably sell complete laptops with 12 months' warranty.

This has been re-formatted to RAW so will want setting up as FAT32 or NTFS or any other file sysem as part of your installation routine.

The picture above is generic (we all know what a hard disk looks like).

The one we are selling here is a IBM Travelstar 5Gb, model DJSA-205. It has a thickness of 9.5mm.

We will give a complete refund including your return postage if it is "dead on arrival" or if it fails completely within 30 days.
