For many lovers of big Australian red wine, the discussion begins and ends with Wendouree. Exceptionally cellar-worthy, these full bodied and gripping red wines are the result of extremely low yields from the very old unirrigated vines.

Wendouree is available exclusivly via mail order only. Some retailers charge $85-$95 dollars a bottle for this specific wine!

This wine has been made to age, so it will keep for 8-12 years without any hassles if cellared correctly. It would make a perfect christmas present for any wine buff who thinks his cellar has everything. These wines are just unattainable because so little of it is made.

Tasting Notes;

Purple-crimson; much better clarity than the Mataro; strong black berry and licorice aromas lead directly into a firm, though medium-bodied, palate; has the energy, thrust and length missing from the Mataro, yet is exceptionally elegant, reflecting its lower alcohol. It's one of those rare wines which get better sip by sip (or mouthful). James Halliday 95 Points

Shipping is only $17.50 including insurance to any address in Australia for a case of up to 12 standard bottles. This price is fixed using Australia Post's Wine Delivery Service whether there are 1, 5 or 12 Bottles in it.

All bottles are shipped from our cellars. Shipment will be through Australia Post's Manual Wine Handling Eparcel Service. All cartons sent are fully insured and trackable online. Orders are only shipping upon clearance of funds, especially cheques!

We are happy to combine bottles for shipping for you, up to 2 weeks after initial auction purchase. We will re-rack & re-cellar your bottles and ship them all to you when you are finished, for the one great value case price of $17.50. The only thing that we ask in return is that you pay as you go! Please add the shipping charge to your first payment.

Express Parcel Post is available but may not suit all items. Australia Post will not insure anything sent this way.

Returns & Privacy Policy:

We are happy to offer a full refund on any item that is returned to us in the same condition as it was sent. The original packaging should be used wherever possible. Bottles etc must remain sealed and unopened. Shipping costs are usually unrefundable.
