Brand new COMPLETE KIT (with manifold) 60-70-80cc boost bottle kit designed for the MOTORIZED BICYCLE ENGINES. Adding a boost bottle kit to your engine is one of the most cost effective upgrades out there. It is designed to expand your intake area on your engine by storing atomized fuel molecules in its chamber and forcing them into your engine while you are off and on the throttle. This bottle provides a "Boost" or supercharge effect. It will also make your engine run up to 3-4 times smoother and decrease the vibration on your handlebars, motor mounts and more! HOW DOES THIS BOOST BOTTLE WORK?
Good question! As the engine draws fuel and air in through the carb on the intake cycle, the spark plug fires this mixture forcing the piston down and forcing a small amount of air/fuel back into the the carb.. As the air and fuel mix is forced back through the carb and intake manifold, it causes a double rich mixture which can result in a rough idle, hesitation. Basically, burning your already burnt fuel again which provides little or no oxygen to burn, therefore resulting in bogging/ sluggish, throttle response.
To take advantage of this pulse this Boost Bottle kit provides storage for this pre-atomized fuel air mixture. leaving it fresh and unburnt, As the piston makes it next cycle and draws a new fuel and air supply into the cylinder the energy (pulse) that is stored in the bottle returns to the engine as a burst forcing the atomized fuel into the engine. This boost bottle will provide a "BOOST"or supercharge effect.
These boost bottle work best at lower and mid-range rpm, and, when you are on & off the throttle. The advantage is that it brings up the horsepower and torque in the bottom of the rpm range, to mid-way through the power band. (Eliminating bogging)
WHAT ARE THE ADVANTAGES OF A "DUAL" BOTTLE KIT? WHY ARE 2 BOTTLES BETTER THAN ONE?
This is a great question. Having 2 inlets on the manifold doubles the passageway for both the rising pressure of the cylinder, and the other inlet for the downward. They will both work together to smooth out the incoming airflow and add a substantial amount of power rather than just one bottle alone. While a single bottle kit is VERY effective, the Double bottle kits are demanded by the more savvy engine builders, and competition racers whom have upgraded their engines with other modifications and are going for the "Elite" in horsepower, torque and RPM gains rather than just a recreational hobby enthusiast.
WHAT IS IN THE BOOST BOTTLE?
There are no fluids or any explosive content inside the bottle. It gets primed by your engine instantly as you start it. ONLY fumes enter the bottle, NOT liquid gas.
WHAT IS A PRE-TAPPED MANIFOLD? WILL THIS KIT FIT MY MOTOR?
It will fit about 99.9% of all the Motorized bicycle motors out there. This kit includes a pre-tapped manifold ~ meaning, you will not have to tap your existing manifold and take a risk damaging it. The hard work has been already done by our shop technicians here at BIS-RACING. The distinctive "Gooseneck" Alloy pipe connecting the carburetor to the cylinder head is called a Insulator manifold. Or, Manifold for short. All you will have to do is remove the old manifold, swap them, secure the bottle, and you are on your way!
ADDING A BOOST BOTTLE KIT IS CONSIDERED AN AFTERMARKET UPGRADE WHICH CAN MAKE BIKES UNSTABLE AT HIGH SPEEDS. SOME BICYCLES ARE NOT DESIGNED TO MAKE SPEEDS OVER 30MPH. ADDING ENGINES - AFTERMARKET PARTS SUCH AS THIS BOOST BOTTLE KIT TO BICYLES WILL EXCEED THE STRESS RATE THEREFORE CAUSING STRESS ON SOME PARTS WHICH CAN DAMAGE THE BICYCLE AT HIGH SPEEDS CAUSING SERIOUS INJURY OR EVEN DEATH.
