LG X Sustain PCB For The 50PX4D

This is an X sustain pcb assembly suitable for fitting into the 50PX4D 50 inch plasma television. The part number of this board assembly is 6871QZH044C. The board supplied is a brand new original LG part.

Failure of this board is quite common and commonly causes a sound no picture symptom. It can also cause a symptom where the sound is present but the picture is very faint and negative in the background. You may also notice that the white fuse on the board has blown, this is a definite indication of a fault on the board. If youhave any of these symptoms then this board should be replaced.

The board fitted in your set may have a different letter at the end of the part number. This version of the board is the latest version and can be used as a replacement for the following part numbers:

• 6871QZH044B
• 6871QZH044C

This part supplied is as supplied by LG for engineers to fit. Only purchase this part if you are knowledgeable in the repair of electrical equipment.

There are various photographs shown in this listing which will allow you to comapre your defective Z sustain board against the new one that is supplied. If it not identical do not purchase. Please get in touch using the technical support email address shown later in this listing.

Replacement of the board is quite easy. It is easier to work with set face down on a large flat surface. Make sure no tools or screws are allowed near the edges of the set as they can cause a nasty scratch if you move the set. Remove the connectors that go into P153, P152, P1 and P151. Next  push forward the clips on connectors P2, P3 and P4 and remove the PDP flat panel connection strips. These can be a little fiddly so take your time and do not apply excessive force. If you damage the flexible strips then the set is a write off. Next remove the 6 board securing screws and lift the entire board out. Fitting is the reverse of this procedure. Take care to ensure all the flexible strips are pushed fully home into P2, P3 and P4. Furthermore check all connectors are  refitted and secure in place. Take your time and double check this so that no damage occurs at switch on.
