This beautiful coin was struck to commemorate the Silver Jubilee of the Reign of Queen Elizabeth II
Equestrian Portrait of The Queen on 1977 Crown Recalling the 1953 Coronation Crown. This coin was struck by The Royal Mint of Great Britain.The crown in honor of the 25th anniversary of the reign of Queen Elizabeth II, bears a new effigy of the Queen on horseback.The reverse side of this coin displays the Ampulla & Anointing Spoon from the Royal Regalia,encircled by a floral border and surmounted by the Royal Crown.The designer of the coin was Arnold Machin.
The Obverse side features Her Majesty with the words :ELIZABETH II D G REG F D 1977.
The Royal British Mint does not normally use a mint mark on the British coins.
Choice Uncirculated: Above average uncirculated coin which retains all of the original mint brilliance or luster.
