                                                                     Great eyepiece for the price!

Up for bid is a brand new 8.5mm 4 element Konig super wide angle eyepiece. It features a 1.25" barrel and a rubber eyecup and is threaded to accept filters. Use this nice high power eyepiece to get sharp and contrasty views in a 60 degree field of view. It's crisp and sharp from edge to edge and has coated glass lenses. You can't get a decent Konig at this price so don't let this one get away.

FYI: The König eyepiece was designed in 1915 by German opticia Albert Konig (1871−1946). The original design is a simplified Abbe, with a leading doublet instead of a triplet.  The original design allows for high magnification with remarkably high eye relief — the highest eye relief proportional to focal length of any design before the Nagler,  in 1979.
