Burleigh Ivory Ware 9 Soup Coupe Underplates

This auction is for the underplates only, there are no coupes to go with them.

The plates are in excellent condition, no chips or cracks, no wear to the gilding. 3 of the plates have no crazing, the other 6 have varying degrees.

The plates measure 16cm across. The backstamp dates these plates to circa 1940. I do not know the exact pattern name, but there is "ivory" impressed on the bottom with some numbers which I assume to be date marks. The pattern is a mottled blue border with a brown transfer lacey pattern and gilding around the edges.

I try to describe every little detail on the items I sell, there is nothing worse than receiving an item, only to find it is not as described. I am very particular with the details in my listings, but mistakes do sometimes occur.  If this should happen, it is not intentional, and can be resolved with an email.

I am more than happy to combine postage. Please email me with your postcode for a postage cost, the cost varies according to distance.
