From our many years of collecting RV toys and memborabilia, we have acquired many ceramic RV collectibles.  This handsome ceramic Christmas set was made by Department 56 in 1996, and is retired now.  It is in mint, clean, original condition, in its original box which is also in excellent condition, showing ordinary shelf wear.  The set is for SNOW VILLAGE and is entitled "ON THE ROAD AGAIN."  The set is composed of two hand painted pieces, a Woody station wagon and a travel trailer, which can be hooked together with their tow hitches.  See our photos.     

The Woody station wagon measures about 5" long, by 2" wide and 2.5" tall.  The camper measures about 4" long, by 2" wide and 3" tall.  The box is about 10.5" long, by 4" wide and 3.25" tall.    

This classic car & trailer and its box are part of the collection of the authors of the recent 2008 book RV & CAMPER TOYS: THE HISTORY OF RVing IN MINIATURE, which was published by Iconografix and which is available for purchase online on EBAY and elsewhere.  In fact, a picture of this car and camper appears on page 120 of that book.  See our photos.  We are now selling our extensive collection.

FOR US BUYERS: We will send all items sold for $50 or less by Priority Mail with delivery confirmation.  For all items sold for more than $50, we will send such items by Priority Mail with delivery confirmation and will require insurance purchased from the US Post Office and paid for by the buyers. This insurance will add $2.25 (or more, depending on the price of an item) to the cost of S&H, and buyers should wait for an invoice from us before paying in order to learn the correct S&H fees.

FOR FOREIGN BUYERS: For items sold for $25 or more, we will send them by International Priority Mail, which includes insurance, to be paid for by the foreign buyers as part of the S&H fees. Foreign bidders can contact us before auctions end (but not on the weekend when our Post Office is closed) in order to ask the cost of such priority mail, insurance, and total S&H fees.
