Book is in excellent condition. No marks to inside book, pages are clean, binding is strong, appears to have not been previously read. Minor crease to front cover.  Published 1994 by Diamond Books.  346pp.

A Dawn of Splendour is the magnificient novel of revolutionary France bringing to vivid life the passion and turmoil of the late eighteenth century in all it blood and glory.  At the centre is a remarkable girl called Marie Fontaine, who by her own integrity and independence survives imprisonment and the threat of the guillotine.  It is also the story of a still more remarkable man, whom the world has come to know as Napoleon.
