A Duel Between Crocodiles 1901 Illustrated Plate RARE





 

An antique black & white plate of A Duel Between Crocodiles.  There is no text on the back. This plate was extracted from a disbound copy of the book, Animals in Action, by Elbridge S. Brooks, published by Lothrop Publishing, Boston, 1901.  No artist noted. No signature.

Size: Illustration - 4 13/16" x 6 1/2".  Sheet - 5 7/8" x 8 3/16"

Condition:  Lightly yellowed with light foxing in lower margins, light wear to edges, a short closed edge tear in left margin, faint creasing.  In good condition. Illustration clean. Unusual.
