A FIGHTING CHANCE THE STORY OF HOW TWO MEN ROWED ACROSS THE ATLANTIC IN A 20 FOOT ROW BOAT By Captain John Ridgway and Sergeant Chay Blyth Published by Hamlyn, London, 1966. Assumed first edition. Blue cloth covered hard cover with pictorial dust jacket. 135 x 205 mm tall. 255 pages. 440 grams. Maps to endpapers. Book is in very good condition apart from bottom 10mm missing from spine covering of hard cover, and larger portion missing from same area of dust jacket, otherwise binding is square and tight, pages are clean and bright and no inscriptions. Illustrated with photographs, the book is an account of the 92 day voyage of English Rose III from Cape Cod across the Atlantic to the little Irish village of Inishmore. Includes maps and diagrams. Mad bastards. I would have saved up a bit more and bought an outboard. Im happy to pack items together to save on postage. Up to 3kg can be within Australia for about $10 postage, so maybe have a look at some of my other listed books and see if something takes your fancy. Thanks for looking
