Most student horns, are simply entry level student instruments, and have very little character or range. In contrast, the Largo Horn, is rich in character, tone and ability. This Tuba, acts and sounds like a studio level instrument. This means most importantly, that it plays in tune, which is rather critical when you are trying to play along side other instruments.
