The Acclaim Bassoon from Largo Australia. This finely crafted instrument is made from Canadian maple and is finished with a high gloss varnish designed to enhance the quality of the wood. All metal work on this instrument is made from silver-plated nickel and the key mechanism is a full German system with a high D key and a right hand whisper key lock.
Metal tubes extend into the bore in the finger holes of the wing and boot joints to prevent water from entering the wood in the tone holes and causing damage. All tenon joints are made of cork and the small boot joint is metal lined to also prevent damage due to excessive moisture. The Acclaim comes in a sturdy hard case and includes 2 bocals, a palm guard and a body lock.
The tone quality is what you would expect from a maple instrument of this caliber and it maintains its intonation across the full range of the instrument. The Acclaim is highly responsive to play and speaks easily, making it an ideal instrument for the beginner bassoonist. At a price well below that of currently available student bassoons this instrument will give years of playing pleasure and would make an ideal addition to a school wind ensemble or orchestra.
Warranty Information
All instruments are guaranteed against faulty manufacture or workmanship for a period of 12 months from the date of manufacture. Warranty does not extend to:
· Any damage whatsoever caused by the purchaser.
· Normal wear and tear.
· Accidental damage howsoever caused.
· Damage caused by using any cleaning agent, device or cloth, other than what was supplied, if supplied, with the instrument or recommended by Jouelline Strings .(Conditional upon the supplied cleaning cloth being free of oil, grease, dirt or other debris.)
· Cost of return for warranty is paid by the purchaser, Jouelline Strings will pay for the return of the repaired/replaced instrument to you.
Policy for Returning Items:
Refunds and exchanges on reeds, mouthpieces, strings and other accessories are not accepted due to the personal nature of the products. These products are non-returnable unless there is a known manufacturing fault or defect.
Defective Items:
Defective products must be returned to Jouelline Strings within (14) fourteen days of the purchase date to be eligible for replacement; Items will be replaced with the product originally purchased. For products that cannot be replaced due to unavailability, a full refund will be offered. All care is taken in relation to the handling of these items during shipping and handling.
How to Return your product:
1. Contact Jouelline Strings at sales@jouellinestrings.com.au representative will evaluate your return request and record all the necessary product return information and issue you with a Return Authorisation Number (RAN). You will also be provided with address details of where to send your return. You should not send your item without an "RAN"
2. Send your item to the return address provided with your RAN clearly displayed on and inside the return packaging.
3. Once the return has been received and processed, a replacement product will be forwarded.
Important:
- Jouelline Strings are not liable for any charges incurred in returning goods to our premises.
- The return must be received by Jouelline Strings within (14) fourteen days of the RAN Number being issued.
- Replacement products will only be forwarded after the faulty item has been received by Jouelline Strings All returns must have an RAN Number.
- Products that are returned to Jouelline Strings without an RAN clearly displayed will be returned to sender
