ABSOLUTELY SACRIFICED. Priced at less than half its true value. NO RESERVE.
SUPERB A MODEL ROADSTER PICKUP.
LITTLE REQUIRED TO FINISH. HAVE IT READY THIS SUMMER.
Car has been built following engineers specs and guidelines, and needs a few small items done to complete the build and obtain a certificate.
The ones I can remember off hand include the extension of 1 brake line, windscreen wipers, brackets for the front guards and running boards, tidying up the wiring and mounting the shifter securely.
BASICALLY EVERTHING IS PRETTY MUCH NEW. GO AND PRICE IT UP. THIS IS CHEAP!
DETAILS OF THE CAR ARE AS FOLLOWS:
*Fiberglass extended body, running boards, guards and '32 grill.
*Shortened pick up bed with polished timber floor.
*Custom fuel cell in the pickup tub.
*Unique designed removable roof.
*Full custom leather interior in burnt orange.
*Custom billet steering wheel in 2 tone leather. Burnt orange and black.
*Fully carpeted in black.
*Triple TPI instruments set into a 1932 style dash. VERY CLEAN LINE TO THE DASH.
*Head lights with inbuilt indicators and unique set up attaching to the radiator surround.
*Hand made aluminium spears surrounding the instruments.
*302 Cleveland motor. Pretty stock.
*C4 automatic transmission.
*Centura Diff mounted on coil overs.
*American Torque Thruster 2 wheels. 17inch x 9 inch on rear and 15inch x 6inch on front.
*Nicely grafted L300 front end. Sits just right.
Paint on the car was only done to get an idea of colour schemes. It is not a finished product and not show quality. It has encountered a few chips and scrapes from sitting in the shed, and also has orange peel here and there. Athough it could be left as is, to avoid disappointment, I will say the car needs painting.
The car as it sits now was built in NSW and was inspected by an engineer a couple of times while it was up there. As it's now housed in Geelong and still not finished, the obtaining of a certificate will be the responsibility of the buyer, or alternately consider hotrod reg. Inspections arranged by contacting me via email. Sorry, but I won't list my phone number in the ad as I don't have hours to spare answering questions about hotrod building. If I did have the time, I'd spend it finishing the car off!
To answer those who want to know why I'm selling, I have a sweet RHD Elcamino that needs a heap of bux thrown at it, and as you can see in one of the photos, my soft top cruising is covered with another 400hp car. Something has to finance the Chev.
