The Largo range of fine violins are a superb choice for teachers, and parents who want to give their violin students the best possible start. A good instrument, correctly setup, with Ebony fittings, ( not painted hardwood like many others ), is an essential key part of the equation, ensuring success and retention. Professionally setup by a violin maker and ready to play when you get it, these fine violins offer maximum tone production and excellent tonal qualities. Each Largo violin has been hand carved from aged fine grade timbers, and are visually and aurally of a very high stranded.
Every violin is labelled and serial numbered!

Setup Information : When this violin comes to you , it is professionally set up and ready to play. The bridge has been cut to provide the correct height of the strings and adjusted to fit the violin perfectly, making playing much easier. The peg holes have been reamed and pegs shaped, the nut has been filed to the correct height, so when you get it, you know it will play, to the way its supposed to. The bow has been rosined up, and every violin is played before shipping, to make sure it plays, as it should. A violin not properly setup, is unplayable and virtually useless, and be quite expensive if you have to take it to your local violin shop.
Optional Extras : You may wish to upgrade the strings, to the more professional Pirastro Tonica. These strings retail at $85, however with the purchase of a new violin, I will fit them for only an additional $55, on top of the purchase price of the violin.
Also available, is a superb electronic tuner, with built in metronome, essential for the new student, for only an additional $30, ( RRP $45 )
We also offer you an optional shoulder rest, by FOM. These high quality shoulder rests, will make it that much easier for the new student. priced at $22 with your new violin. ( RRP $32 )
Warranty Information
All instruments are guaranteed against faulty manufacture or workmanship for a period of 12 months from the date of manufacture. Warranty does not extend to:
Any damage whatsoever caused by the purchaser.
Normal wear and tear.
Accidental damage howsoever caused.
Damage caused by using any cleaning agent, device or cloth, other than what was supplied with the instrument or recommended by Largo Australia .(Conditional upon the supplied cleaning cloth being free of oil, grease, dirt or other debris.)
Cost of return for warranty is paid by the purchaser, Largo Australia will pay for the return of the repaired/replaced instrument to you.
Policy for Returning Items:
Refunds and exchanges on reeds, mouthpieces, strings and other accessories are not accepted due to the personal nature of the products. These products are non-returnable unless there is a known manufacturing fault or defect.
Defective Items:
Defective products must be returned to Largo Australia within (14) fourteen days of the purchase date to be eligible for replacement; Items will be replaced with the product originally purchased. For products that cannot be replaced due to unavailability, a full refund will be offered. All care is taken in relation to the handling of these items during shipping and handling.
How to Return your product:
- Contact Largo Australia at sales@jouellinestrings.com.au A representative will evaluate your return request and record all the necessary product return information and issue you with a Return Authorisation Number (RAN). You will also be provided with address details of where to send your return. You should not send your item without an "RAN"
- Send your item to the return address provided with your RAN clearly displayed on and inside the return packaging.
- Once the return has been received and processed, a replacement product will be forwarded.
Important:
- Largo Australia are not liable for any charges incurred in returning goods to our premises.
- The return must be received by Largo Australia within (14) fourteen days of the RAN Number being issued.
- Replacement products will only be forwarded after the faulty item has been received by Largo Australia .
- All returns must have an RAN Number.
- Products that are returned to Largo Australia without an RAN clearly displayed will be returned to sender
Payment
is by cheque, money order, direct deposit or paypal. COD payments carry a fee of $9.00, which is the post office charge for this service, ( available only in Australia ).
