ABOUT ME
Hi, my name is Joá Johnson and I live in New South Wales, Australia.
Many years ago I was trained in the use of soft pastels and charcol, by an amazing woman.
I have been lucky enough to win prizes for my pastel paintings. My love of art never died, however, everyday life
prevented me from taking it up again until quite recently. I've now a whole new enthusiasm for my art
and have taught myself the use of acrylic paints and brushes. I'm loving it!!
I'll be trying my hand in portaits, animinal, birds, flowers, landscapes,
seascapes and still life, whichever grabs me at the time of starting a new painting.
With this ACEO painting, I wanted to share my love of incredibly colourful birds.
