About this ACEO
Title: "A Most Curious Thing"
Date: May 2008
Medium: Watercolour + Gouache, on Archer's 300GSM Smooth Paper
About this artwork... What is this, the most curious thing I have ever seen? It's not a fish but it has fins; I wonder can I keep it and make it mine? Can I follow its' path up to the surface and see where it goes, or keep it in this fragile cage with me forever, down here on the bottom of the ocean? Beautiful, fluttery, delicate thing...
This ACEO is standard baseball card size and measures 2.5"x3.5" or, 6.35 x 8.89cm
*All efforts have been made to represent the artwork accurately, however please be aware that all computer monitors display colour differently*

What are ACEO's??
ACEO stands for "Art Cards, Editions and Originals". Generally measuring the size of a standard baseball card, ACEO's have a long tradition in the art world, and have appeared in many different sized and shapes as miniature, one-off, collectible artworks. They are a great way to own a pocket-sized piece of your own unique art!
Many people love collecting them and storing them in special folders or frames. They display beautifully on walls, desks, offices - anywhere your imagination desires.
About my ACEO's
All of my ACEO cards are created using only the finest materials, and if the style of paint permits, are sealed to prevent unudue wear and tear. This is to ensure that you get maximum longevity out of your unique painting. If stored correctly, they can last for over a hundred years!
To get the best out of your painting, I include an information and care sheet. This is also the size of an ACEO and so can easily be included in the collection folder, or hung with the artwork [even on the back for easy reference!]. Each painting is personally signed, dated and copyright marked to assure authenticity.
About the Artist
I have been drawing since the tender age of three, when I was first able to hold a pencil and not fall over at the same time. Since then my fine motor skills have, thankfully improved dramatically, and these days I have even been known to hold a brush, paint rag, palette AND not fall over!
I am lucky enough to come from an incredibly artistic family, and my love of art has always been with me. I pursued this into college where I completed a Dip. of Illustration and Design, during which I was in the process of building my own illustration business.
My all -consuming obsession with fantasy, unreality and everything beyond the mundane is the fuel behind my passion, and the endless limits of the human imagination. I can only look forward to what the future holds.
I am only too happy to take private commissions and requests so please if you would like a quote... let me know
